Luxe Angeles

The Luxelab creative team flew 10 of its members to Seattle on Sunday to present its most current vision of style titled “Luxe Angeles” to the Gene Juarez group of nearly 500 hairdressers. A reimagining of stereotypical Los Angeles, Luxe Angeles focused on everything from Hollywood Glamour to Plastic Surgery, to the City of Angels.

Kerastase Lead Educator and Mentor Stylist Craig Wcislo, Luxelab Academy Color Director Amanda Gonsoulin, Senior Editorial Stylist Jen Beckerman and Assistant Manager and Loreal Professionelle Artistic Team member Beth Montgomery.

In the 12 looks represented, 6 models were transformed from classic and commercial to edgy and avant garde in this one hour fashion spectacular.
With a fashion trunk that included nearly $40,000 worth of jewelry and clothing, our stunning models hit the runway sporting looks ranging from braided Mohawks to custom designed headpieces and crowns made entirely by hand from bobby pins.

Owners David Abrams and Jason Lara also gave a rousing speech on commitment to the art of service and hairdressing.

All of this culminated in tongue in cheek finale complete with hand made, couture Mickey Mouse ears and a dub-step remix of the iconic “It’s A Small World” Disney song. Welcome to Luxe Angeles.
